One veteran, one watch idea, and an insistence on designing every detail.
Devin Mercier began the project in February 2025, deciding to design the watch he could never quite find. Drawing on his Belgian heritage and military background, he refined the design with a watch engineer rather than building around an off-the-shelf case. The debut Manx takes its name from the Isle of Man TT motorcycle race: an expression of commitment and a willingness to take risks.
What makes Mercier special: Custom dial geometry, a distinctive 2 o'clock control, individually numbered cases, a domed sapphire crystal and the proven Miyota 9122 automatic. The four Manx and Manx Meridian watches represent the brand's first step, with further movement development planned.
Mercier Prototype brings a distinctive Belgian-designed perspective to the automatic watch. The Manx family pairs Japanese Miyota movements with sculptural 42 mm cases, sapphire crystals, and ceramic dials, with thoughtful details throughout.
