The idea began in 2006 when pilot Abingdon Mullin heard fellow women pilots and mechanics describe how hard it was to find a genuinely useful aviation watch designed for them. She launched the company in 2007, developing the original Jackie and Amelia models with working pilots in mind. What began in aviation has since grown into watches for diving, motoring and exploration.
What makes Abingdon special: It starts with the job the watch must do. Depending on the model, features include flight-calculator bezels, GMT functions, compass tools and water-resistant designs, all shaped by input from women in the communities that wear them.
