The Bauhaus design movement argued that good design could be direct, useful and beautiful without unnecessary decoration. Bauhaus watches translate that approach into clear dials, practical proportions and purposeful details.
Made in a place with real Bauhaus history
The brand belongs to POINTtec, a family-owned and independently run German watch company. After POINTtec acquired its longstanding production partner in Ruhla in 2019, it launched the Bauhaus watch brand. The company's historic watchmaking building in Ruhla was itself designed in the Bauhaus architectural style in 1929.
POINTtec develops its designs internally, and watches are produced in Germany using movements from established suppliers. The Bauhaus collection also includes aviation-influenced models, a reminder that functional design can take more than one form.
