Chronoking is a modern reinterpretation of the brand's iconic 1970s chronograph, blending vintage aesthetics with contemporary functionality. Its 38mm stainless steel case houses a matte black dial adorned with bold orange and white accents, evoking the spirit of classic racing chronographs. The watch features a unique date window at 12 o'clock and two grey debossed sub-dials, enhancing its distinctive character. Powered by the manual-winding Landeron 70 movement, it brings traditional mechanical operation to the model.
The story
The Chronoking belongs to the Chronomaster family, Nivada's chronograph line since 1961. It brings the vintage racing look to a mecaquartz chronograph: crisp mechanical-style chronograph action, quartz accuracy and interchangeable bezels at an accessible price.
Nivada Grenchen was founded in Grenchen, Switzerland, in 1926 and relaunched in 2018 by Guillaume Laidet and Rémi Chabrat. Every model is a reissue from the brand's own archives, not a homage.
