The Chronoking Mecaquartz Racing Carbon is a 38 mm chronograph limited to 500 pieces, the most exclusive edition of the Chronoking Racing collection. Its black carbon fibre dial, inspired by motorsport materials, pairs applied indexes filled with Super-LumiNova with a silver and orange inner ring set with luminous dots, luminous hands and racing counters.

The Chronoking Racing line draws on the bold chronographs of the 1970s, with vivid colours, racing proportions and a playful attitude. On the Carbon, the darker textured dial gives that heritage a modern edge, and interchangeable bezels let you shift its look from sporty to more refined. With only 500 pieces, it is the version collectors of the line look for first.

At its heart, the TMI VK63 meca-quartz movement combines quartz precision with the smooth sweep of a mechanical chronograph. The 316L stainless steel case, polished and brushed, measures 38 mm, 13.4 mm thick and 46.5 mm lug to lug, under a double-domed sapphire crystal, with a steel caseback and 10 ATM water resistance.

The story

The Chronoking belongs to the Chronomaster family, Nivada's chronograph line since 1961. It brings the vintage racing look to a mecaquartz chronograph: crisp mechanical-style chronograph action, quartz accuracy and interchangeable bezels at an accessible price.

Nivada Grenchen was founded in Grenchen, Switzerland, in 1926 and relaunched in 2018 by Guillaume Laidet and Rémi Chabrat. Every model is a reissue from the brand's own archives, not a homage.
