Runde Opal is a tribute to the magnificent nature of Norway's west coast. Its green sunburst dial shifts from a deep, mysterious ocean green in the shade to a vibrant, luminous green in sunlight, just like the rare green opal it is named after, and comes on a matching green leather strap.
The Runde collection takes its name from the island of Runde, just off the coast of Ålesund, Norway. Known as “Treasure Island” after the gold and silver coins recovered from the Dutch ship Akerendam, which sank off its shores in 1725, the island is also Scandinavia's richest seabird colony. Every Runde dial carries a sunburst finish that changes character as it catches the light, and the watch is powered by a Swiss-made Ronda 1069 quartz movement for excellent accuracy with minimal maintenance.
